I had the pleasure to be invited as a roundtable guest speaker at the Creative Futures event organized by Applied Arts Magazine at the Burroughes Building in downtown Toronto, in June. I had to answer questions from students in Creative Arts programs and I had this pleasure and honour to share this task with Brian Patterson, Director of Sales, Stocksy United.
Helping grads find their way to successful careers in creative arts and understanding the business with real-life examples is just as important as the education they receive in school. The road, once creative arts students have graduated, is not as clearly indicated compared to other careers.
